Warrior Temp Help

So, I need the Siege pvper's expertise. Making a warrior to do my thieving dirty work (that week of red Enkil very much sucked...) and was wondering what would be a nice survivable template in which i can do max dmg. right now i feel that most of my issues are with healing. ive never been one to carry around alot of pots (can never get the chug down right and i hate restocking when i die), but im not a big fan of bandaids either. is chiv still viable as a red? what about magery for healnig (i will have magery for gating and whatnot). this guy isnt going to be a big time field pvper puffin my chest out at luna. but will be more like an opportunist, preying on individuals. as of right now i have:

swords
tactics
anat
ninja
magery

what should the last 2 be? healing & resist? bushido? hiding stealth?

please, criticize, twist, bend, tell me how you would do it.

Thanks

120 Swords
90 Tactics
90 heal
? Magery. Depends on if you want gate scrolls or resist.
120 resist
100 parry
Rest in med.

The heal along with the 20 anat will allow you to heal about 30 damage with a bandy, or if you don't like that...

120 Swords
90 Tactics
120 Bushido
? Magery.
120 resist
100 parry
Rest in med.

Use confidence to heal. Kinda need pots for that one though. Chiv is nice, and can be used if human with no points in skill for remove curse, clanse by fire, and close wounds.

so i dont need anatomy? will this hurt my damage output or are they not really linked anymore?

also, if i have just parry and no bushido, do i still need a shield, or can i block with a weapon?

sorry for the nub questions, havent played a warrior in a few years

Depends on who your targets will be. If you're going after soft targets (people who don't pvp) poisoning is very deadly as many aren't prepared with cure pots. Hard targets (pvp'ers) then it's totally different.

Right now, max damage in a single strike is deathstrike w/tracking. 120 ninja, 120 stealth, 100 hiding, 100 tracking - so if you're looking to do a finishing blow on an unsuspecting victim this is nice because it does 50-60 damage (60 I think). Just pick your melee weapon of choice for delivery.

i do plan on incorporating ninjitsu, so i will have shuriken & deathstrike capability.

also, how much magery do i need for gate scrolls?

Out of curiosity, does the LJ 10% bonus stack on top of this?

ok, did a little shuffling, can yall critique this, tell me pros and cons:

120 swords
90 tactics
120 ninja
100 hide
80 stealth
100 tracking
60 magery
50 med

will be mostly offensive. if i start gettin pwned all they will see is some llama ass fading into the disance haha.

tacitcs: track victim while stealthing into position, shuriken, deathsrike, ki attack while they (hopefully) run away. sound ok?

As soon as you shuriken they'll run and you won't be able to deathstrike. I'd suggest deathstrike then fukiya (Haven't tried this combo myself though).

What weapon do you plan on using? This is kinda of important. If you are blessing a bokoto you are going to want to squeeze in high bushido into that temp. I wouldnt even bother with magery, you dont need it. You can get to just about everywhere if you use your maps and be creative. I loved the bleed/high damage deathstrike combo, I would open with a focus than bleed the target. Most of the time they would run and I would try to deathstrike them as they were about to run usually killin them in 3 hits.

not sure what weapon i will use when im all beefed up, but as of right now my guy is carrying around a nice bladed staff i stole from someone recently (i think it might have been you or mike d) 42 lightning, 60 mana leech, 12 hci, fc1 and 38 di. i will get myself an imbued wep later down the road though. i like your bleed ds combo idea though, sounds really nasty. i dont think ill end up runnin bushido though, no room and i never really liked it in the past. i might drop magery later down the road, once im done training meelee. anyone else have some suggestions?

thanks alot for the suggestions so far

For soft targets on mount...bladed staff is great with tracking.

Dismount
DS
AI
AI

Really roughs people up.

Yeah i used to use a pitchfork, dismount bleed deathstrike. Usually resulted in me looting them. There are issues with these temps, no real form of healing is the biggest weakness. You need to hope that your enemies arent smart enough to figure this out. Speedy is correct a bladed staff is good I ran that for awhile too.

nice, gettin pretty excited about this. i think the dismount would be good. i will already be traveling in animal form anyways. can just stealth up, him em with the dismount, DS, shuriken/dart as they run away, and ill follow spamming AI hahah. yessss..... thanks guys

i always ran around minoc gate killing everything in sight, deer, cows, bears, that sorta stuff till about 60ish. Than i went to ettins, low end orcs and ratmen.

Pretty much this. Animals etc until 70: farms, Minoc/MG gate are great for it. Then I just hit lizards and ettins until around 90 and I usually used Samauri at the gate until around 120

Also, if you wanna run a ninja temp like you're describing:

120 sword
120 ninja
120 bush or 120 track(I'd do track)
100 hide
90 tact
75 stealth

And depending on account age, you can get almost GM med. Good thing about bladed staffs is they have high ass base damage and very high speed as well, so it is easy to cap your AI, and if you dismount, track death strike, and AI, they are eating 100+ damage. With a bladed staff at 20SSI I think you swing at cap around only 60 dex...makes for PLENTY of mana.
