Warrior Samauri question

I changed my template to add bushido and parry. As a result I dropped magic resistance. Now I am just getting beat up by anthing cating a spell on me. Should I put magic resist back on? Any I deas for a template? Should I drop Chive instead? Very frustrating.

Theres a few options which mostly come down to how you heal yourself but you'll probably have to give up something and I don't reccomend giving up Chivalry.

Where the points are kinda depends on your own preferences but these are pretty much fine for PvM.

My target template was going to be

Fencing 110

Anatomy 90
Bushido 60
Chiv 70 (with +10 chiv artie to give 70)
Magic Resist 100
Parry 100

I was under the impression that in order to gain perfection I would need to have parry, is this correct? Will i see a benefit from perfection if Bushido is 60? My other question is that damage increase is capped at 300%. I usually hunt with a slayer wep which gives you a damage increase of 200%, enemy of one gives 50% damage increase and my damage increase from ring, tally and wep is over 50%. So right now i am at the 300% cap, and am asking myself what is the benefit of Bushido at this point? I do hunt with others which makes it difficult to honor everything. Thanks

No, Perfection is entirely based on Bushido. Parry only affects the Counter Attack & Evasion Bushido spells. (& Parrying obviously)
You won't see much benefit at 60.
Damage Increase is capped at 300% but super slayers are 100% and non supers are 150%. Perfection is 10% per step up to 100%, items can be another 100% and EoO is 50%.
Bushido's other uses are Lighning Strike (50% HCI which is capped at 45 anyway and gives a chance at critical hits which are based on your Bushido skill, so again 60 is not very useful), Confidense which rapidly fills you health until you take damage - this is also Bushido based so not very worthwile at 60 and Momentum Strike which lets you hit a 2nd target that is right next to you for double the damage you hit the first target for - the success chance of this is Bushido based. Bushido also gives a bonus to the damage Whirlwind does.

Using a Luna Lance is not a good weapon choice.

Ok that clarifies things. I thought you gained perfection everytime you succeeded in parrying an attack and so if you had greater parry you would gain faster. Thx
