As a Warrior how much of being a Warrior is fun and how much is work?

Is it 50/50, 60/40, 30/70, ect...

What a strange question. If something isn't fun, why bother with it? I'm not even sure where "work" would come in. I cannot imagine playing a game where something is work and not fun.

If playing a character is not all fun (as in 100%), then I move on to another character and come back later when it is 100% fun again. Why bother with anything less.

Perhaps I don't understand the question. Perhaps you need to define what work is.

I also don't understand the occasional spam messages I get about power leveling. You know, for X dollars they'll get a character to Y level. When I see those, I think, "Wait a minute. You want ME to pay YOU to play a game for me?"

I guess I'm just clueless.

This is how I read his question. Seems to me, the Warrior is the tank. If a Warrior is in a serious raid/Instance guild, then having the main tank "job" would be work at times.

Often, when I adventure with my wife, I take lead role, I choose the quest we'll work on next, look up the coords on how to reach the quest and lead her, (as she loves the follow command) as we head to our destination. Once we arrive, I commonly play the front fighter and she plays the support.

Examples being, my 65th Rogue and her 65th Priest. But we have one set of characters that we play, our 50's. My Lock and her Warrior. When we play those two, I am not "working as hard" because she is the one doing the leading.

Seems to me that the Main Tank duty would be work. I got my gnome Warrior to 33rd before I deleted him. Why? Because he was not any fun to play.

I see both sides, It can be work, but like you I wouldn't pay someone to adventure for me. Laughable.

Work= Grinding items/money to get the potions, scrolls, bandages, ect...so that you can do the fun stuff of instances and PvP.

Does Warrior gear that you can buy off the auction house cost a lot on your server therefore making you have to grind more money to buy it so you will have good equipment to fight with?

Does it take a lot of time getting scrolls, potions, food, ect...and therefor become a lot of work getting what you need to do instances and or PvP?

Do other classes have it easier and do not have to do more money/item grinding before they can go out and do instances/PvP?
