Big Warning for anyone who is planning to use cartography to create local maps and runes for their turkey maps.
Decided to do local maps when i find the locations of the nests so i have some record for any future maps i get. To try and make it easier.
Well wasnt i in for a surprise....
I used map maker pen to create a local map. I had 7 turkey maps in my backpack...
*clicks make local map*
*map is created in the bag where my turkey maps are*
*didnt notice that it destroyed the turkey map and replaced it with a local map*
*move onto next may*
hmmmm thats strange, im missing a map... must have counted it wrong.
did the same thing again, and still didnt notice that a turkey map was destroyed and replaced with a local map.
Got to the third one and this time i was watching my turkey map bag and saw it replace a turkey map with a local map.... i paniced and checked the scrolls i have to make sure it was using them to create the maps.
NOPE!!!
The map maker tool used the turkey maps instead of the blank scrolls.
The blank scrolls were sitting in the base of my backpack, and the turkey maps were in a bag.
Im guessing the turkey maps have the same item id as the blank maps, and the map maker tool doesnt know the difference between the two and uses the turkey map instead of blank scrolls.
So i have just lost 4 (3 i didnt know what was happening and 1 to be sure it was happening) turkey maps by using the map maker tool to create a local map of the area.
Devs!!! Please Fix this so no one else gets caught out.
If anyone else would like to sacrifice a turkey map and confirm this please.

I didn't think to count how many scrolls I had. Sorry you lost so many to prove the problem.
