I figured with everyone else whining about what it is they want or really feel they must have I would add my own secret desires.

Housing!... With over 5 accounts I must say that one HUGE thing I would like the dev's to consider would be adding more Co-Owners......

I can no longer understand why after all the housing changes you can't have just as many co-owners as you can "friends"...... What I have ALWAYS wanted to do but can't would be to Co-own all my characters to all my house's.... In other words could you please remove the restriction to only be able to be co-owned to ONE house..... and allow me to be co-owned to all of my house's.... please.... This way I can actually have "Friends" added to my list..... as it stands since all my characters must be "friended" instead of Co-owned.... I'm stuck not allowing my friends to have any access at all.... Guild access is fine and dandy "IF" and that's a big IF..... your house owner is actually IN the guild and it does ZIPPO for alliance members.....

In all actuality I'd prefer if you let me set all my other accounts as "owners"... if I could somehow link them so that all my own accounts could "own" all my other houses... But that may be asking a bit much....

I'd also like to be able to "Rent" out parts of my house or have some sort of special containers that worked much like vendor rental contracts only they are "storage" contracts...... this way folk who need storage could "rent" from me at an agreed price and they could have 125 lock downs at my house... more if they rent more than one container..... I think they should work much like a vendor contract..... would be pretty decent.

Basement/Dungeon..... I think it would be cool if we could all have a "dungeon" level to our homes..... a special teleporter that sent you to another server perhaps where each person is allotted one 18x18 plot of ground with say 1000 lock downs..... Where you can design and build some sort of underground plot... either with rough stone walls or the dungeon walls... (NO windows of course)... but either rough or tiled floor or some swamp or water tiles too... but no grass..... I think it would be pretty cool...

Those are my requests for housing.... if you could please think about that....

and of course I still must beg once again for you to please pretty please change the default setting of the emote to something visible in the journal (2d) of course as currently the color that is the default is nearly IMPOSSIBLE to see in the journal....

Thanks

This is the one change that would make life so much easier for multi account holders. I too have 5 accounts and the biggest pain in the rear is the fact I can't friend anyone to any house due to having my chars at 'friend' status just to access my stuff. Ditto to your comment on guild status, fine if your chars are in the same guild etc but not if they aren't.

Due to the nature of my game play my houses are designed for specific functions (Shop, Museum, House, Storage/Event place, Event Place) and all my chars use all those functions so need access to either drop off and leave goods or do deco etc etc.

The day any of my chars can whip out the deco tool, no matter what house of mine they are in, and raise an item that has dropped will be great. To be able to 'secure' a container in any of my houses without the need to log out, get another character who 'lives' there or is co-owned to do such simple tasks would also be fantastic.

If your not a multi account owner any change won't affect you, if you are you have the option to co-own all your chars or not as you wish, so if you don't want to you don't have to. So anyone who isn't interested in this change your only comments would be viewed as churlish. Basically it affects no one in anyway accept multi-account holders, and only for accessing their own characters to the houses they 'pay' for. The only other 'uses' of this change would be:

* allowing those of us into 'deco' to be able to 'hire out' our services and take co-ownership on a short term basis without needing to drop the co-ownership on our own places
* allowing anyone else who for whatever reason wishes to co'own more than the current number of chars to their house.
* allow those involved in Player run events so much more flexibility in having 'event teams' able to set security on doors, gates, teleporters etc without needing to drop co-ownership of their existing houses to operate any house used for events etc

This change has been asked for so many times throughout the years by a multitude of players and all it requires is to remove the restriction on how many chars can be co-owned, and how many co-ownerships a character may have. Given that a house can have pages of friends, and a char can be 'friended' to many many homes, it surely must be a simple matter of changing the code from 1 to 100 or whatever numbers are in place. So number of co-owners a house may have "100", number of places a character can be co-owned too "100" (with 100 being just an example number)

Think it has been at least 5 yrs since I first commented on a thread concerning this issue, and I can't count the amount since then lol. Maybe this new Dev team will finally 'look' at this issue *crosses fingers*

Miss Echo,

Can't agree more I would LOVE to be able to be HIRED as a Decorator....

I'd like it if there was a selection on the housing menu to allow someone to be the "decorator" and have full customization ability with your house but NO access to items.... Or a setting for Decorator/Co-owner (Which you can only be the decorator of ONE place at a time)..... but it could let you lockdown and design and decorate on someone elses property..... all their secures could be put somewhere that both agree on and set to "owner" only that way everything is "secure" but the other person could deco and design a house for a given price or whatever also this "decorator" would NOT have access to the moving crate or would only be able to designate where chests from the crate go but then they would lock down immediately set to "owner" only.... I think that would be a VERY good addition to the housing menu.

Just a thought.

I fully agree with having additional co-owners! I have five accounts at the moment, and I'm actually down-sizing to four (I have space to remake characters on my main account, so I wouldn't need the additional account) because I was so sick of guessing what character was friended or co-owned because I couldn't just co-own all my characters.

I also think that there should be an Ally security option for things, because I dislike my allies not being able to access things I have set for guild access.

...Wowza, I can get super passionate about housing :p

Also - if we can ban the account of Character X, why cant we also add the account of Char Y as coowner? (of course we should also be able to be coowner of more than one house then)

100% Agreed!

I have 2 accounts, and it would be nice to be able to lock down/secure things on either account in either house!

As to a dungeon level:

I know several people, including my next door neighbor in game, that designed their houses like this. Sure, it is above ground, but it is still a cool effect. One of my guildmates has a house that he designed like this, and we have actually used it for some basic RPing. (Guildmembers in demon bone armor are monsters, etc.) It can be fun!

It would be really cool if we could add spawns to our houses! But I can certainly see how that could be abused. Being able to add spawners that spawned monsters that gave zero loot would be cool though! A great place for training! And the spawners would be a great gold sink!

Absolutely agree, I have worked my way up to six accounts to keep our village together and its getting to be a logisitics nightmare sorting who belongs to which house and who can do what to what house.

Another bonus to this is player run villages where more than one person runs a business, takes care of guild stores etc. some containers you need higher levels of security on and there aren't enough options with only being co-owned to one house.
