Until enemies showed up. We was not attacking GIL this Sunday. Target was B^A. I was naive and thought GIL would stay and fight :(
GIL left, that was their choice. We choose to stay as I said before the event. Yes we died, but we do that each Sunday.
We will be there next Sunday too. And maybe some week evenings my time.

Much appreciated :) and I'm with you on the factions. You die get another suit. Usually had buybacks or stuff given back it was a good system for pvpers and murderers :)

My two cents worth:

Not to long ago VvV event was resurected and Sunday's became the day for people to get together. A no looting policy was more between long time Sieger's who are of like minded in a effort to get more people to Siege. The effort paid off, nearly every Sunday had great turnouts. A couple people (from Atl. I believe) stopped in to play Sunday VvV on Siege.

But did the fun continue, NOPE! What did ensue was a guilds started trash talking each other. People who were once respected, honest, helpful pixel friends are now evil simply because of the pixel tag. Past deeds and respectful trust just is not as good as your "tag" in some narrow-minded poeple. Then came the ultimatums, if, if, if, and if. Threats made, simply turned in to challenges.

In order to win the challenges by proving point of views at Sunday's VvV event sucked. Lasted, what 10 minutes maybe? Some on the shard tucked tail and ran. I heard they ran when two names popped up. Some made it a point to loot toon corpses. Gen chat filled up with **** talk basically the fun was over. I rage logged and met T.K at the Cine theater! I heard there were some who stayed to fight and tried to keep the fun going. *RESPECT* I missed that in the chat or I would have stayed.

I rather miss factions. Seemed most everyone knew to have few suits up and ready, because chances were like 90% your corpse would be looted by an enemy faction. Sometimes guild mates tried to keep opponent busy or try grabbing your stuff for you. People came up with buyback, which I have never paid to get my suit back, but it worked for some. Some people simply respected or liked opponents and would drop items off in a mailbox or something. The fun didn't depend on some on looting rules. You can not make everyone abide on certain things.

I did appreciate what was given back. Gestures, I will remeber in the future.

Thats as clean as it gets Mr. Jamison.

Peace all,

I hope we can get the Sundays up running again. They may turnout a little different but I still believe it is doable and all can have fun including the Jokers. I did like the stunt they did 2 sundays ago, only problem weas, we was not ready for the risk and some was using gear, they would had left home if they knew the risk.

I doubt the Jokers want to join our fights around the alters. It's much more their style to show up, trying to take all down then maybe leave again and let the event go on.

My idea is to accept the risk for loosing non imbued gear but that the Jokers will leave imbued gear on the corpes ir if they loot it, give it back after. I believe this way would all get some fun and the Sunday events could still help get more players to the shard.

I don't think TDO did trash talk B^A and we do not disrespect them. I never had problems with friends sometimes being enemies too. Friends in B^A is still friends, nothing changed. Yes I was a little hard on Igg but hope he understsnd it was not personly or hateful. It was just in game conflicts.

Agree, it was sad to see most leave. I really don't believe the Jokers wanted to ruin the event, they had looked forward to fight a large group of players and get some challenge. We could had given them that. Maybe looting would had been less important to them, if we could had given them a good fight. Sadly TDO and a few more was no match for them and I believe they feeled sorry for us.

The fun didn't depend on some on looting rules. You can not make everyone abide on certain things.
Siege always had a set of unwrited looting rules, they depended on respect between the enemies.
Siege was not meant to be carebear land with all holding in hand, Evil is Good, it add spice to the game.

GIL said prior to the event that they would end their patrol if certain individuals showed up.
The reasons are on our public forum...

I know and that's GIL's choice. However, I refuse to let the events die so I'm trying to make them go on with or without GIL. There will always be Jokers on Siege, if Siege is a live, there will be some who want to add more Perilous to Siege.

I'm not letting the shard die again, lets keep it a live. Lets do PvP events, even when we may not be a match for the jokers, it will help the shard. And lets make PvM events to help new and returning players get PS, Primers, item, resources they need to join the fun.

It remind me about long time on Atlantic. I saw 3 blue in same guild. 2 recalled out, when they saw my red name, the last one was a young guy, they left to die. I feeled so sorry for him, so I let him go. The two, who recalled out was not newbies.
