Voon users?

Hello guys,

I would like to test Voon a little but those with whom I play the most have bad computers
So, does anyone I know use Voon?
I don't want to flood everyone on ICQ to get the information

Also, this sounds like a good time to ask... even if I don't know you Do you use Voon? How do you like it? Does it stand to Ventrilo? What are, to you, the pros and cons?

I have it, but haven't managed to log in when there's many to talk to. There isn't, as yet a Europa room. I'll happily create one if people want to try it.

To join it, go to 'rooms' 'manage' 'bookmark a room' 'name starts with'. Fill in Eu and it will find it for you.

Maybe I'd need a "next generation voice", but I don't really fancy the idea of a chat client....

I never used a voice chat because of my bad connection, but I guess I can try. Just need to find the damn headset...

Do you need to be an admin or something to create a room or does it work like IRC where you can create rooms which disappear when the last one leaves?

like irc you can make a room (as far as I know). I've made one called Europa though, so best not make another of those. You could make one for your guild though.

There are adverts!

The big plus I can see is that there's no need for someone to fork out for a vent server so everyone from Europa can get together and have a blether. Unfortunately, the downside is that everyone on Europa can get together and have a blether! I don't see this replacing vent as a form of communication for stuff like hunts or raiding parties. Could be fun to play with though, if anyone else ever shows up!

Did you download the voon for stratics or another one?
Or was it audio ads?

I hope they won't be too intrusive... otherwise it's just useless to use it.
I hardly imagine an advertisement in the middle of a champ spawn...
