Virtue Quests Working?

For the second week in a row, I've received the message saying that I've experienced decay in my virtues and that my ability to self-resurrect has been reset.

However, I don't seem to be getting any compassion credit for escourt quests. Additionally, any time I kill a champ spawn critter (shadow wisps in this case) I get a message about being as high on valor as I can be.

I still get the credit message for completing the hag's quest.

Has the decay been turned off and I missed the announcement?

I could be wrong, but I believe the virtues decay at different rates. Never watched mine that closely, but it may be that sacrifice has a higher decay rate and your other virtues are still maxed out.

Or I could be talking nonsense (happens often) lol

Buzz:

Those messages don't (always) correlate with your virtues actually decaying noticeably. The "reset" message just means that you can resurrect yourself 3 times again. And your Valor can decay and you'll still be Knight; in which case easily 2 shadow wisps can get you back to maximum. Same with Justice. Sometimes I'll get the decay message, and still be Knight.

Check your virtue gump; that's the only reliable way to determine your virtue status.

If you're not Knight and still can't gain?
