Ok... I must be missing something.... maybe just the whole truth...

I have read quite a few place of people snagging virtue pieces for the next phase of turn in, like 2 an hour. I have been running th dungeons quite a bit myself lately, proly spent nearly 4 hours between bloods, lizards,airs, elders, and so forth all mind you in Felluca.. to not yet recieve an artie.... What am I doing wrong? Just a case of bad luck or what?

I think at one time it was possible to score 2 pieces an hour but that was greatly reduce a while back.

I have 3 full suits and maybe 20 of the other pieces all obtained in last 6-9 months. I hunt maybe an hour at a time and I usually get a piece every 5-6 hours and very rarely 2 pieces in that same time period.

I like to mix it up: Ogre Lords, Bloods, Lich Lords, Lizardmen, Earth Els, etc. Start killing a bunch of the tougher monsters for loot. Then go on a killing rampage with the weaker stuff. Seems to work.

You not doing anything wrong. It will drop eventualy. Just keep trying.
If people claim they get 2 a hour i hope they tell there secret. i'm happy if i get 1 every 3-4 hour and i fight down in Hytloth with daemon ,gazers,gargoyles and hell hounds!


Don't give up on it, you will get your pieces. Just need to be more stubborn then them.

I've given up, to be honest. In the past couple of weeks, I've put a ton of time--gotta be in the neighborhood of 20-25 hours--working up a new character, almost solely on lizardmen and earth elementals, for nothing.

I can't help but believe that the drops are somehow based on how many creatures are killed, and since I'm competing for earth elementals with guys with nightmares and dragons (which just seems spastic to me, tbh--earth elementals, really??), I really think their much quicker kill ratio means they're snagging anything I might hope to get.

I go down on my necro mage pop the Fel Destard Champ Spawn Wither spam the spawn until about the end of level 2. takes me about 20 mins. I have got at least 1 virtue item each time and as many as 3. Don't forget to Insure the Un-Blessed Items.

Also during level 2 you can loot the ophidians for rations and snake Skins. I don't let the spawn get to level 3, i stop at the end of level 2 and then go to vanguards or something then come back when the candles go back down.

I think the trick is killing alot of stuff in a short period of time, at least that works for me, happy hunting!
