(Player Event) Vesper Auction Tonight (10/25) 9 PM EST- and introducing new silent auction!

The Vesper Auction has moved to Friday evening! Tonight at 9PM EST will be our first Friday auction. We be available to take items for auction starting around 6 PM EST. Remember that each item or lot must be in its own bag accompanied by a book that has your name, the item description and any special instructions, and starting bid. Items bagged together will be sold as one lot! There is an example bag on the auction room desk.

Tonight we will also be debuting the Vesper Silent Auction! At the beginning of the live auction we will announce and briefly display the items that will be up during the silent auction. The silent auction will run between live auctions, so the items will go up tomorrow morning and will end on Saturday, November 8 at 9 PM (or until 10 minutes after the last bid, whichever is later). The silent auction is meant as a higher-end auxiliary to the live auction with a minimum starting bid of 10 million per item or lot. There are currently only five spaces available for silent auction, but if it goes well and there is demand we will definitely make more room!

We will no longer be using ATM vendors. Instead, buyers will have the option of either paying by cash/check OR purchasing a book the cashier places on a vendor for the amount of sale, then trading that book for the item. This method has proven convenient and popular so far.

We will now offer a more convenient payment method for sellers whose sales total over 10 million gold. If you have your own vendor, you may place a book (or other item) on it for the total sale amount, and the cashier will purchase it so that you may more easily transfer your funds to the bank. If you do not have a vendor of your own, we will offer complimentary temporary vendors at the auction house so that you may more easily transfer your funds over to your bank. These vendors MUST be removed IMMEDIATELY, or they will not be offered again.

The Vesper Auction House is located by the road between the Vesper Cemetery and bank island. If you go to the Trammel Minoc moongate and run straight down you will run right into it (about six screens straight down).
