Sorry, did not check the thread until now. Well, I would imagine that selling them individually would bring home a better balance but if the offer for the set is a good one which I cannot refuse, I may sell also the set.
The set ensures the buyer monopoly on these very special candles, so I guess it should come at an extra charge, not just a multiplier of the candles x each candle value.
I would just like to keep 1 candle for myself, if possible, but if the buyer wants them all and is prepared to go the extra mile to leave me empty handed, I would sell the whole set, entirely.
It is all a matter of how much gold, in the end and gold ain't what is hard to get in UO, it is the items which are hard to get......

So far I have had various offers for like 100 mils per candle, for a set offer there is also some artifacts that would be added. I am still entertaining offers, either for individual candles or for the set.

Usually when selling to a collector whom you know will not be reselling the set price is discounted significantly.
When selling a set for resale the set price is discounted slightly.
