I don't use them to buy, but I do use them to price items on my own vendor. Selling in Chat (plus I hate the Chat Spam) or at the Bank just doesn't work very well any more.
Funny poll answers. I don't use those sites but my reason is not because I think it's unfair to the unchecked vendors. I don't use them just because I don't want to and I don't need to. So because of that, I chose "other." A a simple no would suffice.

I find these sites invaluable for finding and pricing items.
How do these sites stay in business if EA supposedly says that scripting is illegal? I'm assuming that the search sites are using trial accounts to constantly update the vendor information. These scripts would have to be running non-stop on all shards, and should be easily detectable by EA.

lol not really. I can actually go buy an item, then check back on the site like 2 weeks later and its still listed. Sometimes i can add items to my vendors and it takes weeks before its getting added to the sites.
So its not runnig 24/7, not working anyway.
Its far from all items thats listed on those sites.
Im not sure if your serious or not? it must be a CONSIRACY! lol
They should just implement their own system ingame - I made a suggestion here: http://vboards.stratics.com/uhall/222109-suggestion-t-map-system-global-vendor-search.html on how this might be done.

Since these "Vendor Search" sites use illegal scripts to gather their data, they operate in violation of the UO Terms of Service. Therefore, this is an inappropriate topic under the Stratics Rules of Conduct.
