Vendor Question

Is it now legal to use vendors to store items, expecially BODs? I was under the impression that this was not allowed.

I've been trying to complete a BOD set & I've come accross several vendors full of BODs--all unpriced. This situation has remained unchanged for several weeks.
One vendor has priced only the less desirable BODs--I noticed that the bods needed to complete the sets that give barbed sewing kits have remained unpriced, for over 3 weeks. However, there is a helpful note on that house's bulletin board asking to please leave a message if you are looking for something special. The frustrating thing is that the vendors have the BODs I need--they are just unpriced.

There have been several posts about it being legal to use vendors for BOD storage, but not legal to use them to store other items. Not sure how many people are illegally storing items on vendors since I normally don't go around to the remote areas looking for vendors.

Hmm--I don't consider downtown Luna, the Brit Moongate, or right outside of Makomoto remote areas.

Sorry, what I was getting at was that using vendors for BOD storage is legal and so you will find those fairly often, but I wouldn't expect those people that are using vendors to store other non-BOD items, which is illegal, to be doing it in populated areas, so therefore I can't say if people are doing it or not, since I normally don't go running around in the boondock of UO.

It was never illegal to use vendors to store BODs - in fact it was intended from the start.

The Devs meant for it to be a way for people to store BOD Books in a way that would showcase what they had for trading to others - not that it actually worked that way much.

You can store BODs on vendors. Technically this is a way for the vendor owner to advertise their collection, so that they might trade with other players.

The fact that they leave the BRK deeds unpriced, suggests that they want to trade for those not sell them. Try leaving a note on thei bulletin board. If you are on LS, send me a PM with what you are looking for and I might be able to trade.
