Vendor penalty timing question

I'm being lazy and don't want to dig around till I find this information. Does anyone have a quick link or know off the top of there head how the vending penalty fee's work?
Like how long do I have before the penalties start. How long till they go away etc.

I wish we could still move vendor items between one another without the vending penalty.. you know its really tempting to eat that vending penalty so I can do this on the weekend and not have to wait till the work week.... *sigh*

Is there any chance we might get some type of warning message if the item will give us a vending penalty? It really sucks when you have stacks of the same item for sale and want to change the price if you stock your vendors daily. Maybe we could get some feature that would allow us to drop the price without getting a vending penalty. Its way too much like a real job if I have to keep track of some 1000 items just so I can drop my prices without wasting gold because some idiots "abused" the system.

•Issue with vendor penalty was fixed, should vanish after 25 hours and/or removed by the owner

From the Stratics vendor page:

Items removed from a vendor by the vendor owner before a 24 hour period has passed will incur a vendor penalty. This penalty will show up on the item when you mouse over it and will stay with the item no matter where it is left or moved or who it's given to, until it is placed back on a vendor and priced (at which time the penalty is taken out of the gold the vendor is holding).

Nice, do you know how long until you get the penalty? I thought it was like an hour maybe thirty minutes. I'm OCD'ing way too much on my vendors to keep track of time!
