vendor in moving crate.....

ok, ok. i know this has been covered previously, but with the headache i have, i don't feel like searching. so here goes:
went mia from uo for a while and had a vendor go into the red for sufficient funds. logged in today to find the vendor in the moving crate. searched every possible menu for "get vendor" and none were found (saw that in a post i'd found....). so i put a wee bit of money onto it and tried again....nada. *was also standing in the spot where the vendor was...and was using the char it'd been previously placed with*
any info/advice/etc would be appreciated

to claim your stuff you do it the same way you would look threw peoples vendors on the house sign
