I don't see what the big deal is. We went through the precise same thing with the Maginica Invasion.

Right now it's the Chicken-McNugget-drops-in-the-tank-with-5,000-ravenous pirahannas tramplefest of ME FIRST ME FIRST ME FIRST to get the shot at the pixelcrack drops.....

this is a good idea, however....
there are people who just sit and wait for the next spawn. or bounce back and forth untill it spawns.
