Useful Tamer PvP templates for Siege

Let's get this started:

So this will help out all of the newbie Siege tamers who show up. What are the various templates peeps are using these days on teir tamers. Now I know we should be able to get some good ones, I see many tamers running around the shard already, we might as well help those who aren't familiar with pet PvP so they can join the fun.

What level for taming, vet and lore for PvP? What are the best Siege PvP pets (besides the shard favorite Greater dragon)? What are the more useful added skills to aid in pet PvP?

Come on folks...HELP...la

300+ million in items stolen and sold thru dagashi's pawn shop says otherwise...but I guess that was before your time on Siege.

Puffy is the best scammer thief on the shard currently..but I guess he quit...prob for rep reasons.

110 lore tame 100 hide 50 ninja 50 vet 120 archery 90 tactics 75 stealth

u can go 120/120 if u want

That's the beauty of PvP Tamers...disposable pets. If it dies...go tame another one. The object of the game is to kill your opponent before they kill you. If you lose a pet in the battle...it's like losing regs by a mage...la

yeah I am of the same opinion pets should not be bonded.

they are weapons taming the weapon skill. when a fighter loses armor he has to REPLACE IT!!!!!. Now if they wanted to alter the siege bless to BLESS a pet and thus make it able to be rez'd I would have no problem with that concept.

Dismount/stealth tamer seems popular.

Also reveal is a good choice on a tamer.

Something like this:
120 taming/lore
100 hiding
75 stealth
100 detect hidden
120 archery
90 tactics
rest in vet.

Be sure to stay blue and hug the guard zone.

ahh but a tamer does not use his armor for primary combat. a warrior has to bless his sword, bow, bokuto, leafblade taht is his PRIMARY damage dealer and also his key defensive armament.

and many tamers don't even run armor.


I actually like the idea of Siege blessing a pet then you don't have to wait for a pet to bond, you can go to a dungeon pick up a pet and use it and rez it if it dies.

if you find a particularly wonderful pet you can bless it so taht you can keep it.

and taht also means you can only "bless" one pet if you have a beetl and a mare... which one do you like more which one is more valuable your mount or your primary damage dealer.

right now the mage/tamer and heavy-xbow/tamer are by far the most powerful templates on the sahrd closely followed by some of the bokuto nasties.....

I don't hate the the tamer just want to see balance

Nope, Currently Im addicted to Warhammer... My rep hasnt changed since day 1, and Ive never had a problem selling/buying items. Money talks :scholar:

Unfortunately, you do not PVP enough to really make any sense. A tamer who doesnt run armor in PVP is a dead tamer soon to be. He has basically one shot at you and then if he doesnt get you, someone will. Tamers are very vulnerable. However, they need to fix the pet guarding you while your hidden and all you have to do is double click someone. That is b/s. Theres basically no way for someone to reveal you from hiding cause your constantly moving while in ninja form. But tamers are vulnerable against a good mage.
