Update Wanted: ETA of Accounts Management

I would like to know WHEN I can expect to get into my accounts that i cant now link ...
I have things to do, houses to deco.... a clear time line would be greatly apreciated...

No such luck...

One would think they would be giving us updates so we dont loose track.

I did get a clairification.... If your account was ON when the migration was started your accounts are being held till the migration is done, so they are safe from any decay....
But if your accounts were OFF your home will decay as that timer is still running. I have seen many houses in decay mode that were not so a few days ago.... and that timer is advancing.

For those who cycle your accounts time on/off. Check your homes if your close to your limit...

It said something about there being a maintenance on the Account Center and it being unavailable starting tomorrow morning (I forget what time,) and it went for several hours. It said your ability to log in game would not be affected. For whatever reason, the post was only up for a few minutes, then it disappeared.

They announced a maintenance for the account management system for tomorrow - then took the message back down. That tells me they have either delayed it to fix a problem with the fix, or they are adding something else in with the fix to avoid having it down twice.

We should hear more when they are ready for it.

The Account Center will be down starting 6:00am EDT tomorrow, Friday the 19th of August and remain down until approximately 11:00am EDT for essential maintenance. This will not affect you getting into the game to play.

I'd take it, if it meant they'd fixed the stoopid acct management problems. Had REALLY gotten my hopes up when I saw that message about maintenance this morning... but then it went *POOF* as if it never existed, and.... well...

I still have yet to do anything on the site... still waiting for bugs to get worked out .... and I'm still against linking accounts at all.

I don't want my accounts linked to one email... Way to ruin my security EA. My accounts all have and maintain separate emails with separate everything... AND I LIKE IT THAT WAY!

I have no intention of linking accounts. I want some assurance from EA that I can access my accounts and keep them SECURE.... with this new system... even if my "main" email gets hacked. Many accounts are not hacked through EA's website... it gets hacked from your own EMAIL...

One big reason why I NEVER EVER use my account emails for anything but my accounts.

I have no desire at all to do anything with the website..... but I suppose I'll have to when my CC expires.

I want assurances not a bunch of lame excuses and hearsay.... I will NEED more than 9 slots too....
