Update on Publish 55 Please?

I know its been released to Test Center, but since then unless I've missed something I would like to know if there have been any glitches, when it will go to Origin, when it will go to all other shards?

I am frantically rounding up the last of my turn ins, so could we please get an idea if we are a day, a couple of days or a week off yet?

Well... without my "bumps" discussing this with you... it's going to get buried and no ones going to read it tomorrow.

Plus, P55 is supposed to come out tomorrow...

We probably will see a client patch tomorrow - Tuesday at the latest. Pub 55 will come along 24-48 hours after the client patch.

If everything goes well on TC and with the Client patch, 55 will hit Origin on Tuesday or Wednesday. Then it will hit all other Shards within another day or two.

EA/Mythic rarely gives more than a few hours notice when the pub will hit Origin, so don't expect anything from them unless there is an update to TC.

Did some testing on Test Center with a nerfed archer (pvp) side, and have the following result:-

Since quiver of rage is gone, you will not ever see damage over 30 anymore per shot with a heavy bow.

Heavy Bow, 100 di, 120 tactics 120 anatomy 150 str, 45 hci, 70 hld

Damage on a 70 70 70 70 70 character, 45dci, 120 wrestle

Damage as follow (out of 10 hits):- (1.75 to 2 seconds per shot)

Total damage done in 10 hits: 105

Mage in mani heal (0.5 second per): each about 10-15, so that means in 1 second a pure mage can heal 20-30 damage with 2 in mani....

Alright.... that means my pure mage won't die forever fighting 2-3 archers at once...

I think its time to just delete your archers people unless you are fighting in groups... dont expect to solo kill anyone at all unless that person is dumb guy that have very little knowledge on pvp.


In my opinion, this nerf is a super big nerf to archer and warrior type....

One 50 enhance potion could heal up over 30 already... this is really a bad and poor change by UO without much testing at all... I am quite disappointed by this change.

The accuracy bows with moving shot is like 2 out of 10 vs a 35+ dci person...

Anyways, please feedback and comment...

I just find it unfair to the archers with this change of quiver of rage and not quite necessary at all.
