Upcoming UO Terms of Service Change

According to the UO Japan website, the Terms of Service for UO will be slightly changed as of November 30, 2010:

ƒjƒ…[ƒXÚ×

As far as I can tell from the rough Google translation of the announcement in Japanese, the ToS is being changed by providing a different URL for obtaining more information about approved third party applications. Since the old URL is for a page in English, it's not clear if this change only applies to the "official" Japanese version of the ToS. If yes, perhaps EA's plan is to update the English page describing the UO Pro program so it eventually mirrors the new Japanese page but with no change actually being made to the English version of the ToS.

In any event, upon comparing the old UO Pro page in English with the new Japanese page, the main differences seem to be:

- A large caution about not using UO client emulators.
- Some information about things like unattended use of macros.
- Disclaimers about using UO Cartographer and InsideUO.
- Information regarding the creation of custom UI for the SA client.

Since there's no similar announcement on the UO Herald yet, perhaps someone like Athos or Whinemaker would be gracious enough to provide a rough, unofficial English translation for UO players who can't read the information on the UO Japan site.

I'm guessing that they'll be officially approving UOCart/InsideUO and custom UIs, with the disclaimer that they are not responsible for servicing/supporting them.
