I didn't even notice that until just now. They also need to fix their website code to be friendly with browsers other than IE (I use Firefox). The Search box is overwritten by their links.

They 'fixed it', same thing happens a lot of times when they fix parts of UO. Those that wanted any changes can rejoice, the rest of us sufferprevious news are gone![]()
HEH... Drupal is a new CMS? It's a nice change though, imho, and just in time to upgrade to Version 7 next month.Hey folks,
As others have mentioned we did transition the back-end of the site to a new CMS several months ago. There are still some minor, residual issues I'm working on as time allows.
I was not aware of this search bar issue and thank you for bringing it to my attention; Personally I use Chrome and Firefox most of the time and have not noticed this, could you please let me know which version of Firefox you're operating?
...
LOLI forgot to add,
We've passed archives of the UO Herald off to Stratics (this includes Herald posts prior to June 2010); they've been in the process of sorting and organizing them and have been given our blessings as the new caretakers of this information.
We did not want this information to be lost, and could not guarantee when we would have the time to restore it and felt this was the best option to ensure its continued availability.
Thanks again!
Best,
For me, Firefox 3.6.13.Personally I use Chrome and Firefox most of the time and have not noticed this, could you please let me know which version of Firefox you're operating?
*chuckels*Folks,
In reality it would have taken upwards of 5+ months for us to import previous information by hand and just as long to be able to schedule an engineer to automate it due to current priorities.
We are fully confident in Stratics and their continued commitment to their site and UO, I understand how this may appear, but assure you this is the best of many options.
Thanks again all for your continued feedback![]()
Oh come on! You can't tell me that in a house full of software engineers no one is able to write a converter! Simple html parsing, reformatting and writing it out in whatever output format you need. Just get an intern for that!Folks,
