UOD! Can't 1v1 for anything

So in case anyone doesn't know or hasn't seen the current faction rankings Council of Mages is certainly "owning" right now... mostly due to the fact that a guild by the title of UOD! out numbers any one guild roughly 4 to 1... the funny part is that this ratio is actually how they PvP, it seems as though they don't know how to fight someone 1v1, in that when you attack any one of them, in roughly 2-5 min you have anywhere between 4 and 10 of them attacking you. I personally find this amusing because they all think that they are the best things since sliced bread. Just thought I'd throw it out there for everyone... possibly spark some kind of remote interest in factions maybe...?

Most people would actually prefer to fight as opposed to chasing some weak archer with a trap box that has no intention to fight 8 screens just to have them hide. Hiding is not a pvp skill. It is a way for lesser skilled players to avoid death plain and simple. As far as conc blows being nerfed, I imagine if it really does get nerfed properly archers will just take off running that much sooner. Yay!!! A well placed stealth archer for dismounts is a nice addition to a group but an entire guild of archers that do nothing but run and hide is just dumb. Players that pop out to take cheap shots should not be rewarded for the singular tactic of running and hiding.

LOL sibbie, you silly goose.......we don't have 7 or 8 stealth archers, most of the pot throwers are thieves with no defense other then that.

Yesterday we only 4 thieves and one other defender, but thanks to the guards and traps we wiped you out in your base and took back the sigils. Now last nite, was a different story,ya'll rushed us and took most of us out in our base. So the only thing you have on us is not team work but having us outnumbered while defending.

UOD does field alot at yew gate.. But when we have alot on theres some decent fights..The thing that uod has most guilds dont is they have a ton of people who play all day and all night....Thats why there so active..But if you dont wanna get ganked dont go to yew gate wait till u have 8-10 on so you know you can put a good fight up....

Also did you guys read this immune crap there thinking about introducing into uo talk about lame?

Also stops people that actually double-click their pots and use numpad to run, like the old days. Either way, wont hurt me as much as the necro mages with mage weps, the balanced bow users, and the bush dexxers. I'm on the fence about it.

I do like how conc blow will be more like the old passive special.

Edit: Still Frame, you speaking of MPR/G^F stealth-archer pot throwers? Funny, because there's only one person I could think of with stealth and archery, and hes a THIEF. The rest of the pot throwers, as Arabella said, all thieves. As for 8 of them, I find that hard to believe.

I asked one of them the other day as i was dead ( killed by 3 mages and 3 archers and 1 dexxer), dont you like a good fight? Plain and simple he said no. We want points. Well its sad to see cause UOD does have some otherwise respectable people. Nono, WTF happened to you? You use to like good fights. Only reason UOD is seriously any threat right now is cause this dumb factions event has gotten all the real factioners to take a break. The current TB faction has gone up against much better ( WREK, SC, BC .....just to name a few) and we always come out on still lasting. I also said to a UOD (Athena) wait till the normal faction rules apply again, and you wont own anything. And he said to me, and i quote "What are you talking about normal rules...........". Thats when you know you are dealing with a moron. But Hey in Finishing, give them props they are on top............FOR NOW.......

I was indeed wrong, arabella corrected me in saying they were mostly thieves. But just because you're a thief doesnt mean u cant have 50 enhance pots and archery. You guys cant deny you have an easy base to defend though.

Believe me im going to have to re-think my thieves template (GM alchemy 50ep) but other than that even my bush dexxer only chugs pots every 20secs or so, so i dont really see the problem...

I may change this opinion when it actually gets published lol!

The immunity is basically every pot decreases in strength down to 50% effectiveness...once you hit (average 8pots) you have a 30s timer until you can pot again with lowest effectiveness

Not sure how this works you popped it we walked out with all scrolls...I still cant believe you allow some of your members to play archers at a harrower. You realize that besides destard its a giant grind fest?

Btw at our peak we had 20 people with 6 of those people on the harrower. When we pushed your guys grinder at the dungeon entrance i counted 14 down there thats not counting the ones you had working the harry. So unlike what you said was very close numbers.

All in all fun ass fight. Although I didnt see freds shameful joy so maybe he was hiding in yew waiting for a kill shot. Handing people there ass's as he likes to put it.

To argue otherwise would be ignorant. If anyone tries to bring the portcullis into it, you obviously haven't been in a faction long. If it were back to the "normal faction rules" as Hatesphere said it, I'd just as soon see that portcullis removed, for TB's sake.

If you can't disrupt an omen vamp that really just displays how poor of a PvPer you are (not that I had to tell anyone on the forums this).

Let me state clearly that in a 1 v 1, against a UOD, I will never run off screen. TBH the only person I think that even has a chance of killing any decent pvper on a normal PvP char 1 v 1 is Saint of Killers.

For any mage in that guild all you need is a few apples to offset their strangles.

As for the field, 2.0 will be up to 7 regular nightly players in a matter of a few days. How embarassing is it going to be when 7 people roll your entire zerg crew?

Umm am i once again not considered uod? lol Seeing as i hardly play a necro and since im clearly not afraid to 1v1 anyone. I got in a little fight with you the other day lynk i dont believe i ever fell below half life (maybe once i cant really remember) what i do remember is constantly disarming you and saying "wait til raistlin kills spark time i wanna laugh at pwnt" then we actually started to fight and you were on the run trying to heal and i kinda said screw chasing.

I'm not saying anything about your skills im just wondering how im left out of your post? You know from when we were both in TDR that i dont have a problem fighting anyone and you and i have dueled a good # of times going each way.

Before you joined TDR we did fight 1 v 1, and I won. I believe you were using the Hiryu/Archer at the time. That was when we started being friends because it was a good fight.

I understand that you want to hype up your guild as skilled players but it simply isn't true. I don't expect you to publicly admit it and that's OK. I know you have to insult my guild and I to make sure your guild members like you. Its OK - I forgive you for that without you asking.
