UOAssist Macro Question/problem

Hello all! I have a (hopefully) simple question. I am training peacemaking for my bard. I've made the macro:

Use skill
Target self
pause 11000

My plan was to keep it running while I was out chatting with guild mates. I did a similar macro for music in UO, but I did not like not being able to chat. My problem with the UOA macro is, when I hold the macro button down, the message "macro stopped" gets spammed on my screen. I've looked on Tugsoft's website to no avail. Can anyone assist me with this?

You can't spam the macro key, because it will continually stop the macro. What you want to do, is make a macro like that, except repeat the skill use/target/pause about a million times (if you have the patience, set it up the max number of lines available for the macro).

That way, you can hit the button, and it'll run for a while, until the macro ends, then you hit the button again.

With a skill like that, the only way to button mash is simply set it up with use skill/target self (I'd just use the 2d UO macros for that) without the pause, and spam that button--but it'll fill up your left side of the screen with the "you must wait to perform another skill" system message.

Thanks for the response! I was hoping not to do it in UO *Edit (I am using the 2d client)* so that I can type in chat without disrupting the macro...oh well... Guess the world hasn't learned that it revolves around me yet... I'll get my chance..hehe

I'd do what I mentioned about UOA, and set up the long macro with the skill use and pauses. That way you only have to hit the button every few minutes. I think it's a much better method than the button mash anyway--given that when I'm working something really boring, I want something that stops so if I lose interest and wander away I won't find myself punished for macroing, I'll just time out.

UOA only works with the 2D client.

there are no approved "third party" addons for kingdom reborn.

either you mispoke or your running an illegal program with KR.

if you misspoke just tie the macro to your space bar and just go out and talk.
