I did that, 3 times, when setting it up for my hubby. Then I realised that I'd not actually started it with UOA while trying to set up uoam
I had started it with UOAssist so that is not the reason why I cannot track the character.....
I tried several times, always launching the client through UOAssist but never have been able to get UOAM to work so I gave up.....
I read the info to run UOAM as ADMINISTRATOR as to use the "user" under the OS which is the administrator with that computer. I could not find in the UOAM Menu anything to check that says to run UOAM as administrator or anything different... But it did not work either...
I even tried to follow post #78 instructions for "manual calibration" but went to Papua mint with a sextant, noted down the coordinates, and could not find in any of UOAM Menu listings anything for "manual calibration" nor for "The Lost Lands" from any of the drop down menus...
In UOAM Control Panel under the Map section to the bottom there is a list, but only comprises Felucca, Trammel, Ilshenar, Malas and Tokuno, nothing else. So that also was a dead end for me...
I like the sub-server boundaries which come handy when using my fisherman for fishmonger quests so I'd like to be able to use UOAM but even though I tried several times there was no way for me to be able to make it work following that thread.
I even tried to delete the whole UOAM directory and redo the whole thing again but it did not work. Weird thing, is that even though I deleted all of the files for some reasons it looks like then changes I had done the very first time were already active even though I had deleted all of the UOAM folder files !!
I mean, does it store changes info elsewhere other than the UOAM folder ? Otherwise, it makes no sense to me that when I delete any and ALL files in that UOAM directory and then restart anew, the previous changes appear as if I has not deleted the files (which I did...) !!!
By the way, I did Not uninstall UOAM, I just deleted the entire directory....
