Where are you seeing this? EA.com is still selling SA for new accounts for $19.95 and no mention of upgrades or anything else.

Right now on EA.com, it's $20 for a new account + 30 days gametime, but no links for upgrades.

I'm just curious as to the proof, nothing against jaashua, because Stygian Abyss is already on sale for new players (link). Dark Age of Camelot happens to be on sale 25% off until the 14th (link) as well.

They even have a Dragon Age Legends on facebook now from EA that I got in my email. This is the Dragon Age Legends Launch Trailer - EA to the trailer.


Nothing at all about UO and I have checked EA site and see that its UO:SA is $19.95 versus uogamecodes that has it listed at $29.95 and the UO:SA upgrade listed at $19.99.

Heck I even found on the EA.com site a first shooter play4free game they have and didnt know it lol.

He must of recieved an email that I didnt.

Has anyone heard anything more about this? The SA upgrade is currently selling for $14.99 on the EAStore site (Download Ultima Online: Stygian Abyss (Account Upgrade) - EA). A 33% markdown would put it at under $10, if my math is right at this early hour.

I've no need to purchase an upgrade, but a returning player on Siege who sounded like he/she lives outside the US (perhaps in Europe) was perhaps interested in buying it and it was frustrating to not know whether this sale is going to happen and if it does, who will be able to take advantage of it.

I thought 20 was the price for new and 30 the price of an upgrade at release. At any rate that is much cheaper than I paid at that time.

And to the OP, I complained and say "thank you" for the heads up.

While, clearly, I just happened to have some advance information, you never know when somebody's plan for world domination may begin with a diabolical lie on a general message board forum for an MMO. I, for one, rest easier at night knowing we have somebody like you to foil such plots. Keep up your vigilence, good sir.
