Just had a random thought. But would any of you play UO, if there was a total new landmass? Im not saying an addon, but same skills etc, or even classic, but different history, and a different land?

Well I know I would play a "UO2", if it were just what we have now with a smattering of solid balance tweaks. SO yes.

Yeah, a UO2, would kill UO for sure. Since everyone would be willing to xfer over im sure. As long as UO2 had a classic/Siege style shard with no safety. Because we know any new MMO (except DF) has will have safe zones, to make money

I'm pretty sure most of TnT would give it a try. We're already discussing other options... elsewhere.

Well, I'm in the Siege4ever camp. Trammie shards really bother me.

The word "griefing" is something that shouldn't exist in UO. Killing isn't griefing. Stealing isn't griefing. Luring isn't griefing. Siege people understand this. Trammies don't.

No way I'm singing "coom ba ya"....

Same causes and same resulting effects will overcome the newness of a different land.

Siege Perilous main problem is behavior, the same players will reach the same Nash Equilibrium and fight the same way as they do now.
