UO Meet...

Just wondering if anyone has got a UO meet organized in the near future.
I haven’t seen anything about them in such a long time.

Im 'meant' to be organising one here in dubvegas. hire out the party bus head out to the zoo (can apparently now hand feed tigers here something ill be looking into) So thats somewhere for us to practice taming hehe and theres the old dubbo gaol where we could use spirit speak!!The place is haunted and they do sleep overs *grins*
Theres also a sca group here that i was thinking about getting to put a show on but that might need some more investigating.

I really wanted to go to Kryal but it was just bad timming for me ...but I am interested in a meet up sounds like fun.

I have to say I really did enjoy the Melbourne meet I attended. Was really great to meet some of the faces behind the avatars.

I'd be down for another Melbourne meet, you never know, I could be inspired to play full time again

last UO meet i went to was in about 2003 at neutral bay mr plod was there along with a few others

Syd would be good, because it would only require one flight and most would be there. But id prefer Dubbo if some stuff was organized to do. I love the sound of what Katlene is thinking about. Id be in for sure.

there has been talk of virgin airlines coming here and possibly having flights to &amp; from capital cities which would be super awesome!! Airport would see so many more people then. It was so crappy having to go syd first when hubby n i went to melbourne so much stuffing around!!

hehe i, aswell as just about everyone else got sunburnt on the saturday, my face ended up as red as that poxy dress i had on!! It was tonnes of fun! didnt want to leave

I'm part of another forum that's trying to organise a national get together too, is really hard to manage to get everyone on the same weekend, at the same place etc etc

hahaha seems jah n jedi go through lol cats phases
its not an easy job at all. Giving the temperatures we get here no ones going to want to wander around the zoo in 40 degree heat so that rules out the summer vacation, best time is either the 2 week easter or spring school holidays. But then that also means the place is crawling with tourists and accomodation is a drama then. BUt if its off school holiday time those with kids cant makeit and then theres peoples jobs n booking holidays just keeps going on and on and on and on kinda like me sometimes

jah, here is pic of me last night as irish fairy its a terrible shot i took with my phone before i left, i have green hair thing in and shamrocks on my cheek and i also had those glowy band things n yeah nuts hehe

And fink, there are a few theres heaps of cllubs pubs and shindig holding venues here. Im thinking one called the milestone, its a fancy type pub lil expensive but the underpart is locally called the dungeon all stone walls 7 fireplaces etc its pretty cool.
