Anyone else having trouble with the zoom feature in the EC on test? Also Since patch i cannot dismount when riding a animal or ethy.

Again this is only on TEST and not on normal shards.


hopefully this is just a bug, if i lose my zoom ill be mad!!! That is by far one of the best features of the EC

Instead of removing donation gold they can also revise points. Like

1 point for every 100 gp
100 points every crab/lobster
10 points any fish
5 points fish steaks
100-1000 points for "recovered" from SOS loot junk

Adding the SOS pre loot, like the chest of draws, oars, fish heads, barrels, etc etc would be fine. Just not the loot in the chest.

I didn't have any problem with zoom on test, I used it to get the picture of the whole boat.

Why worry about people buying gold to buy the ship?

a) Why buy gold from a third party, when you can buy the ship directly from EA.
b) Why make community rewards through turning in fish, carbs or gold? Make the community reward turning in Boots......lol

Yes, but Nimauq did the sums for using fish, which remember you can buy from Fishermen NPCs and then donate; it does indeed apparently come to 30m if you buy fish at 3gp each and donate them instead. However you can't carry the maximum fish purchase all at once, so you'll ever drop them and risk having them ninja'd, or you need to make hundreds of thousands of purchases and pack-haul them across (and avoid using fish eating pack animals!)...

Personally, as the cannons are spaced just like on the Ork/Gargoyle ship, you're not going to be able to bring any more cannon to bear on a Pirate Ship, so I fail to see any combat benefit to it. I don't boat mine either, so I'm not all that enthused about it to be honest. If those little cannon-holes open and close as it fires, that might be visually interesting, but otherwise... it's just huge and gaudy for it's own sake really, which doesn't appeal.

Since many items act like 1-tile items while displaying over 2, can you place a sacrificial altar on one of the add-on spots?

If so, that might take care of the trash can issue.

That would be fantastic, I'd also love to lock say 20 items onto the deck, No containers obviously. But like a chair or some deco.

Aye, i still have an oldstyle armchair that doesnt decay. So much more relaxing if you can sit while fishing. Hopefully they allow us to donate all prechest / chest loot arties. 1000 points per Decorative Net, Oars etc ... even @ 1000 points i'd need 1000 of em for the first million points. With that i'd atleast see the light at the end of the tunnel.

*edit* Mapper: How about the Britain Throne (vesper reward). Isn't that a great looking chair for the Britain Boat?

*edit2* Bah ... can only be placed in houses ...i bet thats coming from the fact, that the britain throne doesnt have a south facing graphic.
