Here's an idea ...
WHEN someone goes to log into "the game" ... the patch screen? the "my account" button?
I hit it ... FINALLY took me as far as the "cancel" screen
(and YES, I am quit sure I want to cancel)
We are sorry to see you leave Ultima Online. Please take a moment to complete our short exit survey. We value your feedback as it will allow us to continue to improve the game experience for all players.

NO SURVEY ... Either account
IF some subscriber >clicks PAST< the patch screen?
Those little maroonish colored shields With Account written on them?
On the login screen (enter password)
On the shard selection screen (shard selected)
On the character selection screen (before selecting a character)AH! (right click, select "View
Image")
that ACCOUNT button
not linking ... or bouncing FROM /ultima-registration.com/ TO accountEA ... well. IT IS crosslinking BUT
The connection has timed out
The server at account.ea.com is taking too long to respond.
Note:
I have now CANCELED my auto renew sub
I >expect< to be able to play the game on the remaining paid for time (an option that was not presented to CHOOSE)
You MAY NOT backfill and "reset/recover" any information that I just >canceled<
IF you do ... reset/recover THAT info ...
well
do so at your own risk ... those old numbers have been turned over to a criminal investigations unit (CC fraud / identity theft)
They will not contact ME
YOU (EA etal) do >not< have permission to contact ME (email ALSO went with the CC info)
YOU (EA etal) broke the TOS with ME When You did not give 30days notice as agreed.
I >would have prefered< to give this notice in private ON A SURVEY
That option was offered but NOT available at that time, so
This Public Notice will suffice.
Further note:
I have also caused notice of this situation to be sent to various other authorities that May Be interested in Your actions, In part:
My bank, so that they may protect themselves from involvement with your accounting practices.
As a publicly traded Corporation, EA's investor relations and the governing authority of same, the SEC.
California's Consumer Protection agency (
Home - California Department of Consumer Affairs)
Office of the Attorney General, California
and last, but not inclusive:
FBI — Internet Fraud.
*shrugs*
They will proceed as they CHOOSE.
There is NOTHING SAFE about the way you have been thrashing CC info about.
