Somebody in game probably complained to a player about it, giving him/her all kinds of grief for intelligently using a game mechanic in exactly the way it was designed, and they wanted to know for sure.

I personally wasn't impressed with this week's FoF. Nothing in it interested or excited me. I keep holding out hope, ridiculously so it seems, that they may actually address the 11th Anniversary items since it is almost 2 months past when they said we would have them.
However, for whoever asked the questions I am sure they are happy with the FoF. So I say to each their own WITHOUT belittling someone else because their don't agree with me.

Didn't we have purple bunnies too last year? Seems like someplace I have a purple bunny in someone's stable.
One thing I would like to see for the SA client are realistic system specs for good performance. Unlike most games where people are deciding if they want to buy the game based on their system, MMORPG vets are going to be deciding if they need to buy a new computer to go with the game.
I've been surprised by the lack of hoard minions I've encountered in my travels.
I don't take my pink/purple bunnies out of the stable very often, but they are still very cute.
Are there significant changes in how SA handles macros vs KR? Will there be any pass to unify the way SA and 2D clients handle macros so make it easier for people to convert? Will there be a way (in the game interface) to import/export macros/bars? (It would be nice to just import a "fishing template" of macro bars to any fisherman I have)
Although "it's on our radar"-type answers are nice, they aren't terribly satifying without an idea if its in the next publish, is early in design, or is simply on the wishlist. ( I guess no matter how much information we get, we'll want more

I begin to feel almost guilty for asking a question that got answered.
I mean the recommended system specs ... KR's "real" required system specs for the game to be playable were much, much higher than then the officially stated requirements. That led to situations where people went out, bought a lower-end new computer only to discover it still didn't run the game. Needless to say, that's not a recipe for happy campers.

I happen to like my neon bunny..... I am glad however that they aren't bringing them back this year and they plan on something else.... I really like the idea...
Valentines day is fun..... I enjoy my rose's..... cards(though I think I could do with a WHOLE lot LESS of them).... 1 or 2 cards is more than plenty.... if you have that many more sweethearts then.... well somethings wrong...

Re: horde minion... she mighta well answered a 'Is it cheating if I shoot an arrow from my bow?'. Really.
As a side note I see that we will not be getting better, cleaner artwork. Le sigh.

They could include a cure for cancer in the FoF, and there would still be complainers...
Fact is, if the question/answer doesn't interest a person, then they'll view it as a wasted question. And, there's not a question in the world that would interest everyone.
Not to mention the tendency for certain people to look gift horses in the mouth, complain, and then demand the nerfing of gift horses that have better teeth than the one they were given.

- I thought the first question was a bummer, personally. Some people (like umm maybe me) might have preferred KR graphics (if they were polished up and fixed-up a bit more) and that extra 70% of animation that their computers could handle (like with a toggle switch for high / mid / low animations, so that others wouldn't have to suffer)...

I see some people are making a fuss about the horde minion subject. Well, I'm almost positive it was a help to some players that have not messed with them and weren't aware of that ability.
I've hoped they would have a fix for ghost cams in the future for quite awhile. I'm glad this subject has resurfaced on uo.com.
Weddings are finally back, thanks to the EMs. I remember the disappointment when that ended. I'm almost positive sure it will please several players.

The problem though is that this 'fix' has been 'on the radar' and 'in the future' for AGES. Not having any set-ish timeline really just wastes a question otherwise. I mean, it's like someone just handed them a magic 8 ball and said 'have at it'. It's borderline embarrassing.
But how much time would new players spend digging through all of the FoF posts? How many veterans ask questions that have already been answered in many past FoF posts? FoF was never a game playguide to me. That should be it's own searchable entity.- Surely new players have accessed uo.com. So, why wouldn't they know about the FoF?
There are thousands of tidbits like this that just shouldn't be here in a FoF... at least like this. General gamplay questions should be answered in the guide. And if they aren't in the guide they should be added to it when they are answered in a FoF. Guide additions/answers should be annotated with a UO guide link. Doing it this way This familiarizes players (new and veteran) with the guide as a valuable refference point for all of their general gameplay questions. This also makes the enormous task of keeping the guide updated a little easier to accomplish by chipping away at it a little each week. In time, the guide on uo.com could become the main single point of reference instead of player ran sites.
I look forward to the FoF. Many do. I hope to see some kind hint on an up and coming expansion or event. Maybe the inside scoop on a hot in game issue or corporate change that effect my gameplay (for the good). I don't know the numbers or what most others look forward to... but seeing one sentence question/answer posts makes me feel like it was thrown together in minutes to collect a paycheck.
I want the FoF to reflect and enforce the great effort all of the devs pour into their work. One question did that for me this time. The rest I can't remember... save that one question about... the necro pet... well I forgot it now. Maybe I'll ask it again someday and it will be in the FoF.

I found the art work question disappointing.
I was really hoping that the game would get polished up.
KR is still fuzzy with certain objects.
Like another poster said, why can't we have a toggle to have higher quality graphics available to those with higher end systems.

Pink Bunnies & Horde Minions!!! You have got to be kidding.... I'm sorry but stupid questions like this get answered & GAME INHIBITING PLAYING Issues **AKA LAG** that players have been looking for answers that have plagued many of us players for the last 3 months get overlooked! Ingenious
I understand answering player questions can be hard. But I do think the obvious trivial questions need not take top priority when there are seriously more issues that make players quit the game then not having Pink Bunnies or Horde minions as mini vacuum cleaners. Lag makes me & others rethink renewing game play when it HINDERS mine/others playing, Scripters upset trade economy, the many KR issues, Loosing transferring Items (complete packs) upon shard transferring ( http://vboards.stratics.com/showthread.php?t=123331 ), Insurance Bugs, items dropping to corpse that are Insured/Blessed, Speed hacks, Game hacks.... These questions are on 90% of the player based minds. I think they need to be addressed before "Are we going to have Pink Bunnies this year" almost 3 Mos before Easter! Pink bunnies aren't an Easter spawn, but a Valentine's day one. They were cute, and I have two in training to go hunting with some day (sadly they don't get a pack insinct. A pack of fully trained killer bunnies would be awesome!). Just beacause not everybody is interested in them it doesn't mean that some people aren't very interested, and looking forward to seeing what new evil is in store!

And 1 out of 5 seems to have been filler and filler alone. If anyone's asked about that, ever, I've somehow missed it totally.
The ratio really isn't bad at all.

I have seen many questions about the degree to which the SA client will be "truly" high-end, or if it'll be more like KR. More or less, this FoF answers that question.
On one level, this is a stupid thing to deal with, because the answer seems obvious....But on another level, while I haven't seen this one asked about on the boards much, I have heard of necromancers being harassed at spawns.

I think the horde minion and the ghost cam were good questions.
The problem is either the person who asked the horde minion question wasn't clear or they misunderstood them.
The ghost cam answer was better than nothing. Normally they leave those subjects alone until we see changes in a publish. It's good to know that they are admitting they are aware of it and will hopefully come up with something to take care of that one day.

If they give a deadline for a fix and can't seem to make that deadline, then we are going to have a lot more upset people complaining that they didn't fulfill their promise or we will end up with a horrible fix that may only mean more bugs. Particularly with a coded game like this.

Because I thought it would be useful information to know. It's frustrated me many times when trying to make a macro in the client with a delay in it. A count of 20 per second is hardly an intuitive guess.
