If you recently registered at SWTOR.com, the password created there has become your new EA password. It will work for all your EA accounts, so please also use it at the account center for your UO account. Please note your game passwords remain unaffected.

Nope, it's just this push to drive everything through Origin.com. I'm waiting for UO players to have to use the Origin.com client for updates, etc. SWTOR almost had to use it, but it wasn't ready for them.

Yeah just a horrible idea to have all the accounts the same password. As a matter of fact I used to do advisory work with some websites and any that had multiple sites I always suggested having their users choose different logins for each site... just makes sense. Why give a hacker a honeypot login?

I actually pre-ordered the collector's edition of SWTOR that has the authenticator included which I am sure to use. I wonder if the authenticator will work like the battle.net one, in which once attached, needs to be used for all possible logins, regardless of whether it's account management or a singular game's site...

The sad thing is EA has had some scares in the past.

But like I said, all future roads to EA will lead through Origin.com at some point.
