Due to a lot of our players being without power due to Hurricane Sandy we are going to turn off City Loyalty decay and Housing decay for two weeks starting tonight.
We hope everyone is safe and our thoughts are with all of you.

If you are fortunate enough to play, please keep in mind that the Shard of the Dead will end tomorrow. If you are looking for some in-game Halloween action, visit TC1 tonight!

I was just bumping this to remind people about this just in case the Devs did not post anything about it being turned back on. Not sure if boat decay was done or not but I sure would hate to lose a house because of this and believe me if you did City Loyalty (adored) for 9 chars to get all the banners then you might care also the Virtues did not decay, I think.

Agreed and I'm happy they turned it off. No boats were not added in, some have already been lost. Not a big deal in comparison of a house but some people still use them and have items on them.

Wandering around I have not seen the houses that were IDOC re-enter this stage. I think it is still turned off.

If it makes you feel better the odds that one of the small number of people in the United States that are still affected are also one of the extremely small number of people who are a current UO subscriber are very slim.

They have given it plenty of time as is. Turn it back on. Hell, a Tsunami hit Japan and killed over 20k people and they did turn decay off for one day.
