The writing contest 'Memorable Moments' to celebrate the 15th birthday of Ultima Online will end tomorrow on September 15th.
If you want participate and win one of the robes, make sure to finish your story and submit it to Mesanna before we end of tomorrow. Make sure to read the complete rules in the original news.

just to clarify:

that should read "before the end of tomorrow" and not "before we end of tomorrow", yes? and would that be 12 midnight est?

also, are the shard EMs still accepting submissions or do they need to be sent directly to Mesanna?

Mythic hypes OSI's 15 year anniversary for weeks, does a story contest, but won't acknowledge OSI's anniversary on the UO.com website or post the contest results because it's a weekend? What, they're going to wait until Monday? And announce their next booster pack/expansion two days late?

People pay for their service and they want to call themselves competitors in the MMO industry? Fat chance. UO subscribers have been pillaged far too long.

Try and play devil's advocate on this one.

The contest results will be on the Herald when ya know...its decided? The deadline to SUBMIT is today, not when they will read + judge every story.

The deadline is today. If they announce a winner in the next few hours, day or two or week, I'll just assume they didn't bother reading most of the stories or only have one judge speed reading (scrolling quickly over) the entries.

From what I read, there are a potential five winners per shard. It was quite widely announced so I suspect we will have quite a lot of entries. And if non-english speakers enter as well (read: asian shards) then there will probably be a translator involved somewhere.

I suspect (and hope) we'll get the results next week+ AT THE EARLIEST.

*edit* With the anniversary party at the end of the month, I actually think it'd be most appropriate if the winners were announced there anyway.

Codes won't be emailed until Oct 6th so I assume they will announce the winners right before that. Perhaps around the actual anniversary?

Even if there is "only" send in 5 stories a shard they would have over 100 stories to read. It will be a lot of reading. So don't expect to see the winners before the anniversary.

And I'm pretty sure there will be a lot more then 5 stories a shard.
