For the migration? Yes they did. There were like 3 posts wanting some in game item, and many others wanting free game time.

Pub 72 is the vet reward publish as well.
Those are pretty symbolic rewards tied to UO's history and not something that you should get by just throwing a bunch of crap away.
I wonder if they will fix the spelling of assAult before it goes live...
Hmmm....... that link to my understanding is about 14th Year "Anniversary" gifts.....this thread is more about "Veteran" Rewards.......... or did I understand it as wrong ??
I also would love to year what will be the new 14th Year "Veteran" Rewards.... but so far, have been unable to read anywhere info about what is coming as new... There was a thread or 2 time back on UHall about new ideas for Veteran rewards but I could not read in the end what was decided about the new 14th Year "Veteran" Rewards. Does anyone know more or have updated news about them ?

Migration messed with peoples CC, Double charges, not being able to play, etc And generally stressed a lot of people out. Which is understandable why people ask for game time if you have been charged more than you should pay.
Oh and i only read one person asking for in-game item and that was a t-shirt saying 'I survived the age of migration' or something like that. (which imo was a joke)
Vet rewards was just temporarily turned off for a while, why would someone expect or ask for a gift for that?

If those were the anniversary gifts, they should have already been in in testing.
Those would also be some pretty hefty anniversary gifts for people to be picking up on every character they have on every shard.
And there is nothing else that fits vet rewards in the cliloc updates.
My guess is that it is
either the Halloween event
legacy dungeon revamp that starts with Dungeon Shame
I personally hope for the latter.

I could well be wrong in my thinking, but I have noticed that when it comes to "Veteran" Rewards usually there is some rewards for the highest year (in this case 14th) but there is also some for other years, lower account ages.
Now, the new items indicated show no reference to account active age.
Besides, they look to me fairly reductive as rewards for accounts being maintained as active for a whopping 14 Years......... They cannot be in reference to 14th Year Veteran Rewards, IMHO....
I am still convinced they are instead in reference to 14th year "Anniversary" gifts (the tickets one double clicks to redeem 1 item from a list) and not 14th Year "Veteran" Rewards.
So far, I have not yet heard nothing about actual 14th Year "Veteran" Rewards....
There are 56 items in that list and I dont think people are going to use 10+ yr vet reward picks for that stuff, they are not worth it.
I was thinking Halloween event the whole time.
They said they were working hard on the event for this year and to expect something big...this would be big.

Actually most of those in that list that could relate to vet rewards corresponding to certain years within UO - one item references 1999, one 2000, one 2002, one 2003, etc. which can't be ignored. Those could easily show one's "vet" status when placed in your home, although let us hope those are not the generic statues and vases that we've seen before.
What do you think now that the anniversary gifts have been pushed out to Origin?
What's the purpose of those additions that mention specific expansions or events within UO to the client if they aren't anniversary-related?
