UO gold edition codes?

I found a couple copies of the wal-mart gold edition and I was wondering if the codes for the advanced character token would still work or are they like other editions where they stop working after a certain point?

every code you get if unused should work, only things you shouldnt get that have expired I believe are the heritage tokens, think you had to use the code within 30 days, but everything else, even old soulstone codes should work.
