UO Developers: Any news about the ongoing Live Events?

Hello Developers,

we're all aware that you're quite busy with the finish of Stygian Abyss, and that you may not have the time to answer every single question on these boards. (And seeing you so focused and thorough on development, makes me optimistic about the success of SA!)

However, the Cloak and Dagger event ended in March, which was 2 months ago. We enjoyed the War of Shadows events very much. The past 1,5 years in UO have been very exciting and entertaining. Many of us can't wait for the events (that will finally lead to the revealing of the Stygian Abyss) to continue.

Can you give us a clue about the schedule? When can we expect the next stage of the Live Events? Guys, I need to plan my vacation!

I believe it was stated somewhere that there would not be another publish until after SA, but I'm having trouble finding an actual quote.

There has to be another, at least 2 patches.

It was confirmed that this event arc would and at the beginning of the event arc for SA.

So by that, it would mean there would have to be a patch for the ending of the current arc, and one for the beginning of the next.

Yes, that was stated, but since then, I've seen comments that seem to contradict that plan.

edit: although I could be wrong - I found one of the quotes that I'm basing my opinion on (this one from Draconi on facebook) and I may be reading too much into it: "The next major Live release will be after the Expansion, so what better time to rebalance everything than after introducing an entirely new race and set of skills? "

Just so long as its not going to be like last year when we went almost 5 months without some kind of event or "distraction" then we will all be fine. 2 months and counting.... three more months to go I guess.

thank goodness on Europa we have 2 great EMs keeping us busy most nights of the week.

I'm exceedingly happy for the 2 EM's on GL who are absolutely fabulous..... they have been busy doing all sorts of events.

Really can't thank them enough... YEAH! Great job guys!

I dunno, my personal experience I can't really recall when EA ever finished an event, live or otherwise... they seem to get about half way through give or take and never get finished, simply abandoned.

Don't get me wrong, I'd hope they might actually follow through with it but... it would be par for the course if they didn't.
