Hello,

can someone get the devs attention to this thread please? Ever since they forced the webseite uo.com to use ssl I have problems seeing the content. This is mostly the images of their wordpress.

Veteran Rewards – Ultima Online

In Chrome I see only images of the latest added vet rewards, the rest is showing only blank spaces. In FF I see the images but get an SSL warning because of mixed content. Can someone on charge please fix that wordpress? You can not link images with http://.. when enforcing SSL. You must link the images with https://.

Very strange. I see that page clearly in both firefox and chrome, and any image I click takes me to the image itself, with an https address?

As listed above, I also see Veteran Rewards – Ultima Online and it's contents perfectly fine. I think the issue is from your end, try updating or use another browser and reboot your device

FF 57.0.4 64-bit version and I see the pics and page properly. Also, URL has https prefix.

I would have to reload pages there because the background picture would be on top of the info. Sometimes have to highlight the page to make the words come through. Hopefully that is fixed.

No, it is not my device. I have it across all devices. Be it windows or linux. All systems are up to date.
When I open the wiki / vet-rewards I can see the https in the URL, but to the left of it I get a warning by FF and Chrome telling me, that the site delivers mixed content. It is even saying, that the images will not display, because they are not transfered via SSL.

You can see clearly, that that wiki does not deliver most of the images with https in the source code.
This is the source-code I get from that wordpress-wiki:

Not your device per se'. It's a browser security issue. Systems may be up to date, but are your browsers up to date and running the current versions? The older versions of chrome blocked mixed content by default. What is going on is that your browsers are blocking mixed content. You need to change your security settings to allow for mixed content in that red site settings area. If that doesn't work you will have to use a ... allow-running-insecure-content flag to your command line. Or better yet ditch chrome and use a different browser. This is a known and ongoing issue with chrome and IE.

Used to use Firefox myself until trying to play a browser game found that it would take me ages to do anything and my friends playing were having no issues at all come to find out Firefox is insanely SSSSSSSSSSSSSSLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWWWWW...... so I quit using it.

Me too but I went back a week ago and reinstalled it and it seems to fly now. Maybe they updated it?

They overhauled it and it is noticeably faster. I've had no FF speed issues since the newest engine (quantum?) release.

Yeah since the last big FF update it is fast.

The OP is clearly right and the issue is on the wiki's end. Just put https links like proposed. If it was on the wiki here or uoguide a player could have long fixed it. But since it's their wiki and they have other stuff to do, I guess it's gonna stay that way..

Send them a bugreport per mail..
