UO Client - fastest way?

i need to install UO on my new netbook.

Where i can find the last UO install version? only on fileplanet??...its old!!

or...

Can i install it form uokr cd and then copy the content of
the "C:\Programmi\EA Games\Ultima Online 9th Anniversary Collection"
from my other computer and replace the files? will this work?
(it'll save a lot of time on downloading!)

Installing from the 9th Anniversary disk would likely be the quickest method. There hasn't been a major 2D patch since then.

- firts wave of update ok
- after, i get the error that cannot apply the patch!!!!!!!!!

what i can do?
i have norton internet security 2009.

i try to uninstall UO and install again...
same problem!!

looks like lunching client.exe patch now seems to work...strange!!!

To be honest with you, Norton Internet Security is more trouble than it is worth, your better off with something like Kaspersky Internet Security or ESET Internet Security, used both over a number of years and never had a problem, especially with ESET that I use now, either of the those two combined with a router will make you more secure

I assume you have UO installed on another computer? If so, just copy the EA Games folder from Program Files. UO doesn't have any important registry entries.

I had a problem installing UO from CD. Spent 10 days dealing with support. Then one of the support techs said he mail me a DVD. It was simply a copy of his installed UO. It installed fast and no patching.
