UO Assist Dress Macro

Anyone having issues with this. I hit the macro and it totally lags up. most times does not load completely or freezes. than it will not let you do it manually unless you restart the client.

thinking about going over to the darkside if this continues.

6 months ago (give or take for my memory) there was an update to UOA and the dress macro has never been the same since. It is extremely slow and hangs up a lot.

Don't die and you will be fine.

It seems to want to try and equip every item twice, which really slows it down.

For me it coincided with the "cloud" migration. UOA macros became less responsive, particularly dressing. It doesn't freeze for me, but it's definitely not as fast as it used to be. With the migration, as I've mentioned a few times before, UOA often makes my first character start in a non-maximized window, with the game area shoved to the upper left rather than my precise centering.

My past experience with UOA auto dress. First take deep breath hold one hand in the air. With other hand use index to press hotkey. And the gear back in the day had less buttons, straps and buckles. Only thing I miss from the light side is UOA auto dress. Could have a box with all your chosen gear in it. Press a hotkey and that characters chosen items would jump out the box and on their hide. No need to write book and spend ten minutes getting geared up. EC has forced me to get extra items like artifacts and have no way to share some uber looted or crafted item.

The trick is, to just press it once, then perform no other action, just wait patiently.
