UO Assist & Cartographer

Two things.
1 - For reasons beyond me my UO Assist icon will no longer launch the applicaiton. I have removed it and created a new one, no luck. If I try to launch the application by dbl clicking the exe, still a no go. Have to right click and run in Admin mode.

2 - UO Cartographer will no longer synch with UOA because of the above.

Running Win 7 Ult.

Anybody else had similar issues?

Have you tried running UO Carto in Admin Mode? When I open it normally, it won't sync.

The same things happened to me about a month or so ago. I finally reinstalled an earlier edition of UO and now it works fine, again. No clue why.

if even 1 program is running in admin mode, it screws up all of them - then you have to run everything in admin

so make sure you don't have anything running in admin mode (for example ventrilo) and then you should be fine

Same problem on win7 ultimate, resolved by open uoassist and cartographer as an administrator

Running all as administrator now. Ugh.
Wasn't Win 7 supposed to make life easier?

I to am having problems with this.. I have both set up as Admins. But when I start UO Cart it always shows me standing at the Britt Castle.. ..
