Untranslated Ancient Tomes (little Black books)

I have been collecting these for the quest and was wondering which areas seem to drop them the most?

I know I have found them on bosses down in the styg abyss, just wondering what other monsters drop them. Think most the ones I have gotten have come from Medusa..

seem to get alot from navery, few from that sand throwing thief guy.

In my experience they appear to spawn about evenly among all the places they can spawn.

The Book, Scroll tatters, and pottery shards all drop from SA-based monsters in SA areas (Ter-Mur, Tomb og Kings, and the Abyss), the shards are the most common of the 3, scroll tatters next and the books the rarest.

They are turnins for the museum quests for imbuing ingredients, the SA lore books, and Loyalty points.

Best way to work these is to grab them as you PvM your way around the SA areas then when you get a bag full of them, turn them all in at once.

However, each time you turn in one of the 3 quests, that quest will not reappear for a few minutes when you are clicking on the curator to get the quest, so you'll have to be patient to get the quest again.

The drop rate on Niporailem the thief is by far the best. I average around one per three kills there when running it solo. On one occasion I managed to get 4 in a row. Everything else in the Underworld drops them sporadically at best, or that's been my luck with them.
