United Sosarian Alliance Archery League 7th april

The United Sosarian Alliance is pleased to announced its swtiched gears from the last two months of the USA Dart League to bring you April's USA Archery League. Beginning on Monday April 7th 2008 and continuing through the month of April the United Sosarian Alliance, consisting of the player run cities of Gyldenfeld, Port Baldmor, Silvervale, and Guardians Gate will host the weekly archery league within various cities in the realm.
Commencing at 9pm each nights tournament will be a double elimination, head to head match up against another opponent with ten shots at the butte with the highest total advancing. The last archer to remain will recieve a check for 100k along with and engraved trophy box to commemorate the event. Along with the formentioned prizes, points will be awarded for 1st through 5th place accumilating towards the monthly championship of 500k.

This weeks event hosted by the city of Port Baldmor will take place just outside the city of Old Haven at it's archery butte's. Registration will begin at 8:30pm with matches beginning around 9pm. Come on out and have a lil fun!

Where are the archery butts in this torn up isle ? Old haven or new haven or by all the undead icky spawn ? *cant find em* atm I have not been to Haven much since the gods destroyed it...don't like how it ended.

Lady Phoenix was kind enough to show my kin, whom got our family mage to mark the spot. I was looking for New archery spots not old in the ruins part of town hehe ie old haven that once was lovely. Anyhow Pandora marked it so we good to go if we can recall to it. The Queen does not do gates. .only our family mage Pandora does.

It was a good tournament... lots of fun for participants and spectators!

Aye, a good tourney indeed! The air was crisp, the breeze was light and the contestants magnificant!

Noxious Butt ... er ... Bud, after reciting the rules in detail ("You all know the rules, now let's get to it!"), called the archers out in pairs for the double elimination event. Archer's took their mark and arrows flew straight and true ... at least most of the time. On more than one occasion, Bud had to duck and dodge (or jump) an errant shot! (Well, what did he expect standing in between the buttes?!!)

In the end, it came down to two mighty contestants ... the apply named Deadshot, and the oddly named IIfer who had returned to the realm just for the event. IIfer faced long odds as he had already beaten him once and Deadshot was then unbeaten.

Ultimately, his name held true and Deadshot was proclaimed the winner of the night's contest and received a hearty congratulations!!!

On a side note, this writer was more than a bit dismayed at the quick departure of the lovely Queen Zen from the contest. This writer was absolutely entranced with the charm and grace possessed by the beautiful Queen as she held her bow and took aim. Oh, to be the feathered arrow, held so closely to her lips before it takes flight &lt;sighs&gt; ...

Oh, um ... sorry about that ... I forgot I was still writing about the archery contest. Anyway, congratulations to Deadshot!!
