Unique Item Tracking Guide

This was one of the first decisions that the High Council has made. The reason for doing this was because with all the negativities that have been going around lately regarding the rare collecting world, we felt that this would show the public that not ALL items are dupped. In fact, there are plenty of items that are being protected by the Rare Collector's community. With that being said, it won't be easy to get your item onto this list as there are rules that must be satisified.

1. Definition - One and only one event item category. It seems the dupes are mainly event items and server births and since server births is too difficult to narrow down the quantity this will be for event items only for now. If in doubt, it can be posted and well be discussed whether if its unique or not.

2. If you were not the original owner, you must justify to the High Council how you obtained the item and from who etc.. The High Council will decide on what is considered a ligitimate claim and put it on this list.

No. There are several items similar to it. Many of which were deleted over the past, but I know several people that have a 'secret stash' of items that are 'possible delete', like the lava and water tiles.
Afaik, it was not given out at an event.

If they have them on display in a museum-like form, why not?
Sure, if the house is private, I can respect the fact that owner doesn't want the world to know that he owns the item, but if it's on display publicly, why not?
Sometimes it's also impossible to get the owner's permission.

Btw, I asked Nails permission to post that I sold my sash to him. He was okay with it.

this item is absolutly 100% unique since I have owned it from the moment a GM created it many years ago.


Another item I have is a floppy hat labeled "Fishing Contest - 2nd Place"
I would imagine only 1 of these was distributed at the time of the event. And I have now owned it for over a year. And yet to see the same item for sale anywhere else. So I am hoping its unique and my owning it has preserved it.

I have two unique "Roses"

Years ago a gm accidentally deleted some of my roses and tried to reproduce them.
Both are reversed
One says "A whispering rose from Sir Francis Drake" (17 characters, impossible to create)
The other one lost the whispering bit and is now called "GINSENG" in capitals

not sure if that qualifies for the list but to me they are truely unique
