Am I understanding blacksmithing correctly here?
Let's say for instance, I am a Legendary Blacksmith with GM Arms Lore.
I make a set of Ringmail armor. The "base" resists for it are: 3 3 1 5 3. (based on http://www.uoguide.com/Armor). I use valorite ore to make the Ringmail, so the following points are added to my resists: 4 0 3 3 3, for a total piece showing resists of 7 3 4 8 6.
Now, since I'm legendary, with GM arms lore. Let's assume I made it exceptionally. 20 additional resist points get spread amongst those numbers, correct?
I think I've figured it out correctly this far. But, now, lets say I use a Valorite Hammer on that armor piece.
A valorite runic hammer has 5 minimal/maximum Properties, 85% minimum intensity, and 100% maximum intensity. Only thing is... I'm not sure I know what that all means. LOL. Can using a valorite runic hammer also increase resistances? If so, to what degree?
It'd be nice if someone could provide to samples or examples of what using a valorite runic hammer MIGHT do in my example with the RingMail piece.
Sorry for the noob questions.
