Can anyone tell me what damage type on weapon that works best against these shame beasts ? I dont mean slayer type. I mean -cold, fire ,poison etc... I ty in advance.

I was thinking about poison. But when you cast a poison field it doesnt seem to have any effect on it. Unless the poison damage from weapon works differently.

fields try to poison them, but they resist poison. thier resistances i believe listed on stratics hunter guide say they are weak to poison and phys. so poison melee damage is different than poison fields

I make mine bronze for fire and physical damage. It seems to work well. When I cast Consecrate Weapon, I do get a small boost. I would venture guess different elementals are different. So, I go fire physical.

Iv been down there for weeks with my tamer and they are all different.

Some have phys as there lowest some have poision as there lowest so there isnt a defined "lowest" resist as such as they seem to change,

I ought to try that on my sampire...they are pretty tough on a Greater Dragon, and the loot doesn't seem worth it compared to a Crazed, and the time it takes! Made him an Air Ele slayer kryss for the Wind Eles, seemingly 100% chance to hit those so I end up w/ 2770 luck bonus (base + luck sculp. + honor) for killing them.
