Unattended Macroing yes/no?

For me, as long as it's just for skill gain, I don't have a problem with it. I'd love to see homes open, so players could use player retribution to take care of macroers, but at the same time, if they aren't macroing someth8ing that would alter the economy, I don't know why it should be illegal...la
I remember when it was allowed in the early days.
It was funny how I could take my miner to any spot, hide him and start to mine. Back then the ore stayed in your pack regardless of how many ore were in it. By morning I had well over 2000 ore
Personally I agree that macroing should be allowed in regards to working skill.

Is it legal to macro out repetitive tasks while I am away from the game?

It is against the Terms of Service and Rules of Conduct to macro repetitive tasks while away from your PC in Ultima Online. This is what we refer to as “Unattended macroing”. Unattended macroing means being away from your UO session while your character repeats a series of actions (even automatic ones such as combat or passive skill gain) for any length of time. If your character is performing a skill or action, you must be able to respond to a Game Master when one attempts to speak to you. If you are not performing any action whatsoever, then this is not considered macroing. Remember, you have to be doing something, such as a skill, chat, or action to be in violation of our unattended macroing policy.
