Unable to recall or tele tile jump, sometimes. Atlantic

In the last two days there have been several instances on Atlantic where my character is unable to jump servers, either with recall/gate, or using the jump tile in my house. The amount of time is random and it is shard wide, as friends are in the same situation at the same time as me..

Anyone else having this issue?

Had the same issue on Drachenfels today. Tried to recall several times out of a book and, except for the "Kal Ort Por" appearing over my head, nothing happened. About 1 minute later, I have suddenly been moved to the destination.

oh good, not just me... the other day it got to the point where I was walking a few steps after a couple of 'nothings' to see if I was gonna lock up or get the connection lost screen

been happening a great deal with just about any spells, actually.... well, more than it normally does... cast, see the words, no target cursor for two or three times in a row, but that has always happened to me with target spells, it's just more pronounced now

and it doesn't matter how the recall is cast, whether by icon or by blue button in book, but it does use the book charge just the same, cause you get the 'needs to recharge' message

Siege has had a similar issue for a long time - but the recall works between certain facets and not others. Which facets are you having trouble going between?

Just wondering if this and the Siege issue are related...

I'm pretty sure now that these combined have extended several drop times on some of the idoc's we've been doing. Yesterday they added up a good bit, one did not fall for an hour past its drop time.

Taz, as for location, I've been jumping everywhere!!!

Anyways, I have not experienced this problem any more than usual, but I do have small instances whenever my daughter grabs a lot of my bandwidth...which she of course denies. Wonder if the recent lag problems might be related.

Had the recall problem also. Now I have a worse one. One account is having issues logging into Atlantic. One character will not even log in. She was logged out in her house tonight. It is like the whole account is bugged. I can log in other shards with it. I paged but now I cannot get back in on that account. Any ideas to solve this?

The house owner character on Chessie is having problems recalling and gating home. The last rune, set on the steps, is showing the problem of when he casts & clicks on the runebook (default to the house) to return home, it gives the message the spot is blocked. Open the rune book and click on the on the page and it works, nothing is nearby the spot he arrives. The prior rune, set near the house (default for the rune book), usually sent him to a house near Yew. opening the rune book and clicking on the page would take him to his house in Malas.

Thirteen other characters have no problem coming home to various spots by the house.

Sorry - meant Gating - like when you are in Ter-Mur and attempt to gate to Feluca or Malas. You've been on Siege long enough to have experienced it.

Ah.. yes. That issue. I found from TerMur you cannot gate to Malas or a Guardzone area. Quite annoyinh.

hard to know what's related and what isn't, but thought I would mention this also.... lately (and by lately I'm meaning in the past few weeks) I've been experiencing what feels like the push-thru that happens in Felucca when you pass thru an invised person... there is nothing in my way, I'm not bouncing off anything, it's not in Felucca, but my character falters momentarily

this is very different from the lag spikes, which last much longer
