Unable to post or reply

Hey everybody... I know this is likely not the right place for this but I honestly don't know where is. A good friend of mine, Wetherlocke can not seem to post or reply to posts. He has obviously posted in the past (he has a post count) so something seems fishy. The error message he is getting (when he tries either) is:

Wetherlocke, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

Not being able to post makes it pretty hard to get help so I was hoping a mod might see this here and offer some suggestions (or move this to the right place.)
