Unable to gate my pack horses to my ship

Hopefully a kind Dev will spot this and take a look as it's rather annoying!

If you gate a pack horse to your ship it won't follow you through, I think it's the way a ship gate seems to act like a recall. And the only way to get a pack horse through is either bond it or go to the boat and log in out.

That's how it's been since beta. In fact at the beginning of beta the only way on was recall - till the testers pointed out there is no recall on Siege. So what we have isn't a true gate, it's a fudge on the recall only option to accomodate Siege.

Shame. What would be nice is a box you place in your hold, and anything put in it is transported to your house for a fee (or sell the item on UOGC).

Does this include bonded ones? I thought it was limited to unbonded?

that's right. Bonded packies recall with you, so they're no problem.

Don't forget, Mapper, that you can use commodity deeds in the hold.

The iusse is that the gate travel to a boat has been changed, when somebody enters a gate to a boat, he get recalled to it.

Maybe a security reason, i think it is also easier to handle this kind of teleportation when the boat moves.
