un-honor a target?

I wasn't sure the best place to ask this, but here seem better than anything else.

I managed to inadvertently honor the Cu Sidhe I was taming (macro hotkeys are right next to each other).

Now I have a permanently honored pet:

I suspect that if he were to die, that the honor flag would disappear. But I'm not going to get him intentionally killed, just to get rid of the purple flag. That seems more like "dishonoring" than "un-honoring".

Is there a way to lose the honor flag without killing him? If not, no big deal. It's just a bit odd seeing the purple flag all of the time.

Perfect. Turns out, just honoring something else works. Flagged green the second I honored something else.

Well dang that might be a handy trick for keeping track of your pet at a big group hunt or EM event. Might have to try it out!
